About GTI
We were established in 1997 by Philip Bacon our Managing Director who by then had already spent 20 years working in the travel insurance industry.
We remain a small specialist very independent insurance broker company which allows us to provide a personal service to all customers including those travel firms for whom we provide travel insurance contracts.
We specialise in providing travel insurance products for the older traveller and have developed our own style of policy wording contract with all insurers with whom we place business, making these products unique in the market. These unique features can be seen in our range of products available to you.
We also provide insurance services for the travel industry including Brochure Travel Insurance schemes for a wide range of travel firms including many "niche market" schemes, Combined Liability Insurance, Office Insurance, Staff Travel Insurance, Business Travel Insurance, Crisis Management Insurance, Travel Industry Bonding, and much more.
In 2005 along with the whole intermediary market, we became authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Prior to this we were voluntarily regulated by the General Insurance Standards Council (GISC). We are also members of the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) and the Association of Travel Insurance Intermediaries (ATII).
